James L. Manniso is a Navy Veteran who served as a radar man on a destroyer escort in the early 1950’s. Then, in the mid-1950’s, Jim was a Philadelphia Firefighter. Now, an electrical engineer turned poet, Jim writes poems from his heart, soul, and mind.
Jim states:“Wars were fought by American men and women of various religious, ethnic, and racial heritages. These representatives of America’s Armed Forces served, as did other veterans before them, with pride.
